Role Details: The Senior Quality Engineer will report to the Quality Manager to provide support and be responsible for tracking and updating various registers in the common data environment with the inputs from the Quality Manager and NEC4 Supervisors Responsibilities include providing guidance and direction on quality management across projects and setting and implementing appropriate quality standards, processes, and procedures for the project via the Management System. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Integrated Management System. Review of Subcontractor Verification Activities (ITP's, Document reviews ,etc. ) to ensure compliance with FNICAP Requirements. Performing Quality Audits and System Reviews in line with the project Audit Schedule. Weekly On-Site Monitoring of QC activities by the NEC4 Supervisors to ensure compliance with project Requirements. Attend Quarterly on-site Quality Forum with project Quality Manager. (SQE/QE to Present a different Quality Topic at every meeting) Supporting the capture and tracking of NCR's, CAR's, Audit Reports (Defects will be issued by the NEC4 Supervisor on the Contractor via CEMAR). Attend Design Reviews where required to ensure Quality Requirements have been agreed and Captured within the design. Identifying and communicate learning from Experience though the project lifecycle. Supporting the capture and tracking of Quality KPI's though the project lifecycle. Gathering and compiling of Quality Related data for Monthly Reporting. Deputize for Quality Manager when required. Undertake Quality Inductions and any other Quality related training (CFSI) to all new Employees. Proactively liaise with the Third-Party representatives and GQAR where required. (On/Off Site). Quality Audit Reports and System Review Reports Reporting of Subcontractor documentation status (Acceptance/Rejections) after reviews. Weekly reports to the Quality Manager and SPM/PM concerning on site Quality Activities (NCR's Raised, Quality Incidents , ITP 's produced (Accepted/Rejected) , Quality Inductions undertaken) Presentation to sub-contractor Quality Representatives on a Quarterly basis at Quality Forum. Update and Manage the projects Learning from Experience and Continuous Improvement Register. Submit Quality KPI's and Quality related deliverable information to Quality Manager for Monthly reporting. Update Quality Induction Registers and CFSI Training Records and report statistics to Quality Manager. Ideal Candidate Profile Essential General High School Education ONC/HNC in Engineering discipline. Associate Member CQI Auditor Qualification Effective communication skills Effective report writing skills. Effective document management Effective PC skills (Microsoft Office) Preferred Academic, or vocational qualification i.e. ONC/HNC/HND (preferably in a related subject) or equivalent, significant, and related professional experience. Accredited training qualifying towards registration (e.g. Practitioner Member) of a recognized professional institution (e.g. CQI) would be preferred. IOSH Managing Safely Lead Auditor Qualification Visual Welding Inspection Qualification CCNSG Safety Passport Background in Nuclear Safety experience 3-5 years' experience in a Quality functional role within Delivery Operations-Service MRO/ Project Delivery and/or Energy/ Manufacturing/Defence Industry Proven track record in large scale projects in the nuclear or similar regulated sector, including major EPC projects. Experienced in delivering and operating at a Leadership Level Experienced in working in a Joint Venture or Alliance environment. Why Join Us?
