A prominent and growing management company employing over 250 people, is seeking a Group Head of IT Transformation. This role is pivotal as the company has launched a substantial business transformation program, investing significantly in its IT and business service functions.

This includes the rollout of the company’s first ERP solution (SAP Business by Design) with further assessments for other key business systems also underway.

The successful candidate will oversee the governance, stakeholder engagement, and execution of this critical program over a 2 year period. They will lead project teams, ensure accountability, and work closely with both internal resources and external vendors. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels are essential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with the CFO and executive leadership team to develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company’s mission of delivering top-tier solutions.
  • Manage a portfolio of technology transformation programs and projects according to an established roadmap.
  • Lead the scoping and implementation of projects that enhance core infrastructures, business systems, and operational IT tools.
  • Handle the budget for transformation programs, ensuring value for money and high-quality outcomes.
  • Maintain system integrity and cybersecurity standards across all transformation activities.
  • Serve as a business partner, fostering an understanding of different business streams, key clients, and internal user needs.
  • Introduce best practices in technology management and change control processes, with a focus on staff and customer needs.
  • Act as the organisation’s technology risk manager, developing and enforcing risk management plans including disaster recovery strategies.

What you can bring:

  • Profound understanding of business systems, IT infrastructure, networking, and hardware.
  • Proven track record in IT transformation and strategy implementation, with at least 10 years’ experience in managing technology and transformation projects.
  • Strong academic background in business administration, information technology, project management, or a related field; a financial or operational background is a plus.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is highly desirable.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel to various group locations to support successful deployment.
