Purpose of the Role

This exciting remote based Digital Product Analyst opportunity has arisen to join our Portfolio Solutions team reporting to the Head of Digital Insurer Partnerships and Digital Trader.

This role will be to focus on the identification, development and management of digital solutions across the business platform, whilst always aligning to our core principle of acting in the best interests of our original clients/end customers.

You will be accountable for the development of digital placement performance across the platform, including implementation and management ensuring the correct engagement across the various internal and external stakeholders and ongoing performance management with the business and insurer partners. Working with the head of Digital Trader, the role requires responsibility for all aspects of product management including development planning, internal and external engagement, product strategy, operations and marketing.

What you will do

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:

  • Support the process of scoping, designing and implementation of Digital Solutions and Broker facilities across the Ardonagh Group whilst engaging with various appropriate internal stakeholders to ensure they apply their own technical insights and accountability
  • Develop, refine, and maintain the Digital product and placement strategy for Ardonagh Advisory in line with Group strategy.
  • Implement the Digital proposition across Ardonagh Advisory and contribute towards the income growth in line with the required group financial targets
  • Use data and insights to identify trends and opportunities, articulate them effectively both internally and externally (as appropriate) to senior leaders and act on these in the interest of all stakeholders in the creation and identification of any new digital solutions, insurer products or market trends or issues.
  • Insurer insight preparation – own the delivery of existing reports on a monthly basis to keep insurer partners up to date on performance, Quarterly business review pack preparation and support ad-hoc MI requests from the Placement team.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with internal Ardonagh Group and external stakeholders, taking stewardship for alignment and coordination with specific business units and functions where required.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document Digital Trader product requirements, translating business needs into clear and actionable specifications.
  • Source and analyse Digital Trader product data, including users behaviour, performance metrics and customer feedback and establish regular reporting to provide insights to key stakeholders.
  • Schedule and deliver Digital Product performance reviews - liaising with operational teams to identify areas of risk to the business within product literature provided to customers and create proposals on how these issues could be reduced/removed and present to stakeholders for further action.
  • Evaluate User Experience (UX) of the Digital Trader product through usability testing and user journey mapping. Identify areas of improvement and collaborate across the division to continuously improve the product.

Qualifications and Experience

This is an opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in a similar role, with practical or knowledge experience of portfolio placement, facilities and panels, particularly digital elements, in the UK insurance market. You will need to have excellent knowledge of the UK digital market infrastructure and dynamics to maximise relationship management and insurer engagement as well as a strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills across all mediums and able to present concepts and information clearly and in a manner appropriate to the audience. We are seeking someone self-motivated, creative, resourceful, can prioritise their work and under pressure to deliver to strict deadlines. High level attention to detail with experience in project management is a must.
