Are you an experienced Finance Business Partner or FP&A Manager looking for the opportunity to progress your career?

A large international manufacturing & service business are currently looking to bring an experienced Finance Business Partner or FP&A Manager to head up the forecasting & reporting team, working closely with senior stakeholders throughout the business in delivering group budget and forecast.

The position is paying between £70,000 to £75,000, Hybrid working, 25 days holiday plus opportunity to buy more, great company pension, staff discounts, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the group's budgeting and forecasting processes, managing stakeholders and producing final budget documents along with supporting analyses.
  • Assist in the monthly Capital Investment Committee meetings by ensuring that all major Capital Expenditure (Capex) requests have strong business cases that meet accepted hurdle rates. Also, conduct periodic evaluations after investments to ensure they perform as expected.
  • Regularly report on expected financial outcomes, highlighting any areas of risk or opportunity.
  • Generate meaningful management information by consolidating data from various sources.
  • Post monthly payroll entries to the Group accounts.
  • Perform other financial modeling tasks as needed, such as leverage and EPS forecasting.
  • Take ownership of the Cognos TM1 system, managing financial and non-financial information and associated reporting.
  • Managing a team of 4 qualified accountants.
Requirements:
  • Professionally Qualified - ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
  • Experience in multi-site budgeting & forecasting.
  • Experience in complex financial modelling & scenario analysis.
  • Fully proficient in Excel, VBA and Powerquery
  • Ability to present to board level
  • TM1 experience is desirable but not essential.
