I am recruiting for a global leading process manufacturing organisation, who are an established supplier of fundamental products and materials to wider global markets. They require an experienced Process Controls Engineer on an interim basis for a 2 year Fixed Term Contract, to oversee the continued maintenance and upgrade of existing control systems and processes.

Support Process Improvement and Process Engineering teams in the development and programming of control sequences
Utilizing standards developed for programming of DCS, ESD and SCADA HMI packages
Assist with operational implementation of the process control and infrastructure modifications and upgrades
Provide technical expertise in support of capital projects, process evaluation, and project modifications
HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical/Controls (EC&I) or similar
Demonstrate relevant experience in Process Control and Safety Shutdown hardware, software and configuration
Experience within a continuous manufacturing process environment (ideally a top-tier COMAH site) preferred
Demonstrated ability to understand fault-finding, diagnostic and problem-solving techniques using Process Control systems and Data Historian.
Experience in communication systems such as OPC, Modbus, ethernet networking would be advantageous
Long term 2 year FTC position
Highly competitive rates on PAYE or UMBRELLA.
