Our client, an independent mixed animal practice, is recruiting for both new graduates and experienced Vets in County Durham:
Role 1: New Graduate Mixed Vet**Full time - 4 days per week**85% small, 10% equine, 5% farm mix (or small animal only)**1 night on call per week (with support from another Vet)**1 full weekend on call in every 6 (for every full weekend worked, no night on call the following week and a Friday or Monday off to make a long weekend)**1 Saturday morning in 3 (one of these will be part of the full weekend on call every 6)
Benefits include:**Veterinary Graduate Development Programme (VetGDP)**The chance to go to Spain to volunteer at a neuter clinic (subject to availability)**Starting salary - 4 days 34,500K (DOE)
Role 2: Experienced Vet**Full or part time**80% small, 10% equine, 10% farm mix or small animal only**One night on call per week (with support by another vet)**Part time hours are negotiable, however ideally at least 2 full days per week plus the below weekend rota cover**1 full weekend on call in every 6 (for every full weekend worked, no night on call the following week and a Friday or Monday off to make a long weekend)**1 Saturday morning in 3 (one of these will be part of the full weekend on call every 6)
