Major Talent are partnered with a global player within the flavours and ingredients space, and we are looking to recruit an experienced QC Day Analyst based at their site in County Durham.
As a QC Day Analyst you will be responsible supporting the team to ensure the department provides the best possible service to its internal and external customers.
Shift 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, this position will also be covering shifts, so potential for weekends and evenings
Responsibilities of a QC Day Analyst
Work along side and support the QC Coordinator and Technical Analyst to oversee the day to day running of the laboratory
Provide shift/holiday cover as required
Analysis of raw materials and products and recording of test results
Ensure samples are processed through QC within the desired time period and priorities are managed
Calibrate, develop methods and standardise all equipment and chemicals in line with Quality Systems
Undertake relevant analysis in respect to complaints
Maintain QC documentation
Provide planned and reactive instrument maintenance Method development of new and existing products Complete QC projects
Skills Required to be a QC Shift Analyst
Experience of GLC, , GCMS, titrations and other wet chemistry analysis is essential.
