Project Engineering Team Lead

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a market leading manufacturing business, who are specialists within the FMCG sector, on a Senior Project Engineer position. This role will be a leadership position planning, executing, and leading specific capital expenditure projects focused on improving the efficiency and delivery of business critical manufacturing on site. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a senior project engineer or established manager looking to drive forward an exciting in-house project portfolio, whilst significantly contributing to further projects enhancing production lines, automation, new machinery, and more.
Senior Project Engineer key responsibilities and accountabilities:
# Throughout the lifecycle of key projects, ensure adherence to Health & Safety guidelines and communicate any key risks to relevant stakeholders
# Management of the associated capital expenditure approval process and adherence to the approved spend and timescales
# Managing internal and external resource to ensure project activities are completed on time, to budget and the required specification
# We would be interested in speaking to Senior Project Engineers with the following academics and skillsets:
# Engineering Qualification, Degree level, BTC, HNC, or ONC
# Engineering experience within an FMCG environment (beneficial)
# Experience leading the delivery of several projects at once varying in scope and budget, preferably involving new machinery, production lines, robotics, and site improvements
