Als schakel tussen leverancier, de afdeling inkoop en afdeling verkoop ben jij een bepalende factor. Jij weet hoe je de wensen van onze klanten vertaalt naar een breed en diep assortiment op het gebied van vrachtwagenonderdelen. Voor het vermarkten van de producten werk je nauw samen met verkoop en marketing, met als doel de omzet te laten groeien in jouw productgroepen. Zo draag jij bij aan het verder uitbouwen van onze leidende marktpositie.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Product Manager bij Wijlhuizen zorg jij ervoor dat wij alles kunnen leveren wat onze klanten nodig hebben op het gebied van onderdelen. Je runt als het ware jouw eigen winkel binnen de afdeling Product Management, waarbij jij het assortiment in jouw productgroepen bepaalt, verschillende merken op elkaar afstemt en zorgt voor een zo goed en breed mogelijk assortiment. Uiteraard tegen zo gunstig mogelijke voorwaarden, voor zowel Wijlhuizen als de klant.

Het mooiste van jouw functie? Automotive blijft zich ontwikkelen en vrachtwagens worden steeds complexer. Daarmee wordt jouw rol alleen maar belangrijker en waardevoller binnen ons bedrijf. Jij bent diegene die precies weet wat wij aan moeten kunnen bieden en waar er ruimte of noodzaak is voor innovatie. Wijlhuizen biedt jou dan ook alle vrijheid om nieuwe mogelijkheden te onderzoeken

Tijdens een werkweek houd jij je bezig met het:

Onderhouden van het bestaande productbestand;
Speuren naar mogelijkheden voor uitbreiding en vernieuwing van het assortiment in antwoord op vraag vanuit de markt;
Analyseren van de omzet en de prestaties van jouw verschillende productlijnen en de productgroep als geheel en het doelgericht ontwikkelen hiervan in samenwerking met het marketingteam;
Volgen van de ontwikkelingen in de markt en weten wat onze concurrentie doet;
Contact onderhouden met leveranciers en klanten over prijsstellingen, onderhandelingen over inkoopprijzen van de producten en bespreken van het vermarkten van de artikelen;
Presenteren & promoten van jouw eigen productlijnen binnen de groep, onder andere via e-commerce en sales.
Het behandelen en afwikkelen van garantieaanvragen.

Wie zoeken wij?

Voor deze functie van Product Manager zijn we op zoek naar een zelfstandige, initiatiefrijke en gedreven collega. Je hebt bij voorkeur praktijkervaring en hebt naast een goede technische kennis ook commercieel inzicht. Jij weet jouw werk te organiseren zodat je, naast alle lopende zaken, ruimte hebt en houdt om te vernieuwen. Daarnaast heb je goede antennes voor wat klanten nodig hebben, maar heb je ook het bedrijfsbelang scherp op je netvlies. Je staat dan ook stevig in gesprekken met bijvoorbeeld leveranciers en weet als geen ander hoe je moet onderhandelen

Daarnaast heb jij:

HBO werk- en denkniveau met zowel commercieel als technisch inzicht;
Goede auto technische kennis;
Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden;
Goede kennis van de Duitse en Engelse taal;
Een scherpe analytische blik, voor het verwerken en analyseren van data in een breed assortiment;
Diepgaande kennis van Excel;
Affiniteit met de truck en trailerbranche.
