As we continue to grow and expand our presence in the market, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as Chairperson.

Key Responsibilities:

• Board Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the Board of Directors, ensuring effective governance, decision-making, and oversight of the company's affairs.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Board and executive team to develop and implement strategic plans, initiatives, and objectives that align with the company's mission, vision, and values.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and opportunities that may impact the company's performance, reputation, or long-term sustainability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with shareholders, investors, customers, employees, regulators, and other key stakeholders, representing the company's interests and values.
• Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as adherence to ethical standards and corporate governance best practices.
• Financial Oversight: Provide oversight and monitoring of financial performance, budgets, investments, and capital allocation strategies, in collaboration with the Board and executive team.
• Succession Planning: Lead the process of succession planning for key leadership positions within the company, including the CEO and other executive roles.
• Communication and Advocacy: Serve as a spokesperson and advocate for GRWN Group, promoting the company's mission, values, and initiatives to external audiences, including media, industry associations, and community stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience serving as a Chairperson or similar leadership role within a corporate or nonprofit organisation, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or sustainability sector.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, board dynamics, and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Demonstrated track record of strategic leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence outcomes.
• Financial acumen and experience overseeing budgets, financial statements, and investment strategies.
• Commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and corporate social responsibility.
