At Oakwood Primary Academy, the pupils, staff and governing body are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspirational Reception / Early Years Teacher to join our fantastic team for September 2024. In the new academic year, we are excited to welcome two reception classes and are looking for an exceptional colleague to teach one of these classes. Oakwood Primary Academy is a two-form entry primary school in Eastbourne, for pupils aged 4-11. We currently have 305 pupils on roll. The majority of our pupils come from the local community – a community that means a great deal to our families and all the staff who work here. We are a school that has undergone huge, transformational change, having been rated as a ‘Good’ school, in all areas, at our most recent Ofsted inspection in October 2022. We are very proud of what has been achieved, but are committed in continuing to raise outcomes, standards and opportunities for all of our pupils.
