Opportunities available for Steelwork Installers / Fitters / Erectors to join a well-established and successful steel fabrication business that specialised on design and manufacture of architectural/secondary steelwork, such as stairs, balustrades and Juliet balconies etc.

These roles are offering secure PAYE, with a very competitive hourly rate, with overtime available at enhanced rates. All within a friendly and supportive atmosphere, where you’ll be working on a variety of projects.

Note - Applications invited from experienced steel people as well as the likes of carpenters etc seeking a change.

Steel Installer / Erector / Fitter duties include:

•Typically attending the office/fabrication shop each morning to review installation packs/drawings and ensuring vans are loaded with required fixings etc.

•Travelling to site location as part of a 2 or 3 man team dependant on project requirements.

•Installing / erecting steelwork as per the drawings.

•Maintaining a professional manner whilst on site and when communicating with clients or other project stakeholders you encounter.

Steel Installer / Erector / Fitter requirements:

•Previous experience installing / erecting a range of structural and/or architectural metalwork is highly advantageous however we also invite applications from skilled carpenters looking for a change.

•Relevant site tickets (CSCS).

•Driving license.

•Should live within a commutable distance of the office in Wardington.

•Be reliable and be seeking a permanent PAYE position.

On offer for the Steel Installer / Erector / Fitter:

•Very good starting rates (£15 - £17 p/h) +/- negotiable DOE.

•Plenty of overtime available, all paid at enhanced rates.

•Robust employer with a healthy order book.
