Provide competent support, advice, and guidance on safety legislation and good practices to all levels of the business.
Plan and undertake safety process audits as per the established audit schedule
Undertake and contribute to H&S projects
Data evaluation and production of monthly and ad hoc reports.
Travel to and support other EGGER sites within the Group, including occasional overnight stays as required.
Write and review internal health and safety documentation.
To represent the department and give competent advise and solutions regarding all CDM projects / activities.
Plan, manage and interpret statutory compliance reports.
Deputise for the Hexham Health and Safety Manager.
NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent qualification.
Demonstration of professional competence and development through providing evidence of continuing professional development.
In-depth knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and associated legislation and ACOPS.
Passionate about safety with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
Intermediate standard of IT, including competent use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
