A well-established, innovative forerunner of the ERW steel tube industry is looking for a Sales Executive to take responsibility for looking after existing customer & sourcing new business. Along with a salary of up £40,000 per annum, you will also receive a £1,500 quarterly incentive scheme taking your OTE to £46,000, free onsite parking and 28 days holiday per year (including BH). As Sales Executive, your key responsibilities will include: Meeting and exceeding annual sales and margin targets set each year. Maximising any customer enquiry both in terms of price and other services that can be offered or sold to maximise profitability Performing all required activities in the office including answering telephone calls in a professional manner; taking enquiries from new and existing customers; making pro-active calls; quoting for customer requirements; raising and amending orders, back to back purchase orders and purchase requisitions; allocating stock; agreeing delivery dates taking into account current processing and transport availability; entering all relevant information on the internal system Identifying potential new business whilst maximising opportunities with current customers Processing all orders through from the quotation to order entry and following them through to delivery. Responding tactically to changes in market conditions and core product performance, identifying trends in order to maximise opportunities and acting quickly to address any issues Keeping fully up-to-date on all relevant information, changes and requirements to your key accounts. Working with the Sales Director in pursuing/developing all relevant business opportunities. Handling customer complaints/disputes and investigating thoroughly to establish the cause. Liaising with credit control to ensure accounts remain within terms Entertaining customers when required; attending any required training and courses, conferences and any other exhibitions/business events. Supporting stock checking including any reasonable duty required Were looking for a Sales Executive with: Previous manufacturing sales experience. Experience with laser cutting or in the steel industry would be an advantage. Proven track record in achieving sales targets & KPIs within a B2B environment Excellent customer service and administration skills.
