SEMH Teaching Assistants Location: Sheffield S25 Salary: £86 - £100 per day Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent GSL Education is seeking passionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a supportive team in Sheffield S25. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to students with SEMH needs, both individually and in groups. Assist in implementing tailored interventions and behavior management strategies. Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive learning environment. Foster positive relationships with students to promote their social and emotional development. Requirements: Previous experience working with SEMH students is advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to different situations and work effectively as part of a team. Enhanced DBS check on the update service is required. Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and the successful applicant must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
