Your new role
We are currently recruiting for an English Teacher working in a school in the Cheltenham area. The role is currently due to run from after the Easter holidays through until the end of May half-term with the potential to extend for the right candidate. The client is ideally looking for a full-time teacher willing to undertake full teaching responsibilities, although they do have the capacity to support applicants looking for part-time work to fit around personal commitments.

The school is currently rated "Good" by OFSTED at their most recent inspection and prides itself on the ways they encourage pupils to achieve their full potential through the comprehensive opportunities provided to their students & is looking for an English Teacher to buy into that philosophy.

What you'll need to succeed
To register with Hays, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher. To register as a teacher, you must meet the below core criteria:
  • Strong experience teaching English - preferably as your specialist subject
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • You must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS.
