This is a varied role supporting the development of Rotork’s ongoing and future projects including our Next Generation Actuator which will form part of a flexible, scalable and secure Industrial IoT platform. You will be the technical expert in the team and spearhead best practice in this space.

Reporting to the Global Test Automation Manager, you will work as part of a medium sized team to influence the ways of working within product requirements capture and management.

In this role you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, for example, managing and administering the requirements capturing application whilst establishing best practice. You will work facilitating the development of product requirements with the design and development team whilst supporting the resolution of defects concerning both software and hardware requirements.

The successful candidate will have a holistic approach to requirements capture, work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders whilst also have a desire to develop and upskill in their own career.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience developing high quality requirements for large scale / complex Engineering programmes and projects.
  • Experience of using industry standard tools for requirements capture and traceability documentation (e.g. Jama, DOORS etc.)
  • Experience of developing and defining process with respect to requirements capture and development.
