We are currently recruiting for a Part-time Accounts Assistant

Role Overview

A part-time Accounts Assistant (4 days) to provide day-to-day administrative support within the finance team. This role reports to the Finance Manager and will be involved in the administrative support for the treasury and other aspects of the retail (UK) company.

Responsibilities include:

- Responsible for weekly cash balance reporting

- Assisting with weekly review of store till statements

- Preparation of weekly reports from Navision, Adyen and Amex to support the bank

reconciliation and cash forecasting process

- Assisting with the weekly bank reconciliations

- Assisting with reconciliations of Global-e and PayPal accounts

- Checking various Finance inboxes

- Responsible for the management and statement reconciliation of the Rates and Utilities

ledger

- Processing of invoices

- Reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment

- Assisting purchase ledger with processing invoices when required

- Respond to relevant vendor and stakeholder enquiries

- Perform ad hoc projects as necessary

Skills required:

- AAT qualified or relevant degree preferred

- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics Navision ideal, but not essential

- Previous experience within a finance team would be desirable as well as an understanding of the retail environment

- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail

- Excellent time management skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel

- Must be adaptable, flexible and a team player

- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
