Role Overview: As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with ASD in a specialised educational setting. Your role will focus on helping students navigate their learning experiences while promoting their social and emotional development. Responsibilities: Assist in implementing tailored educational plans and strategies for students with ASD to enhance their learning experiences. Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons, helping them engage with the curriculum and complete tasks. Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages students to develop social skills and build relationships. Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to adapt learning materials and methods to meet the individual needs of students. Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
