We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong Mechanical, Technical background in mechanical engineering, or construction related fields to oversee the design, manufacture, delivery, install and commissioning of commercial and industrial flue and chimney systems. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring that these projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, effective project management, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

Ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.

Monitor and manage project progress to identify and mitigate potential delays or issues.

Prepare and manage key contracts.

Engage and manage consultants and sub-contractors as required.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Technical Expertise:

Apply technical knowledge to assess project requirements and review contractor designs.

Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions as necessary.

HSQE Assurance:

Establish and enforce HSQE control processes to ensure project deliverables meet Jeremias high standards.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify work HSQE compliance.

Stakeholder Communication:

Will liaise closely with operations, commercial, technical and finance staff in the team.

Maintain clear and proactive communication with external stakeholders.

Develop relationships in the industry with key suppliers and contractors.

Undertake regular site meetings.

Address and resolve any project-related issues or concerns promptly.

Manage third party interfaces.

Required skills and experience.

Mechanical Engineering bias, Construction Management, or a related field

Proven experience in construction management, ideally in the construction and commissioning of mechanical infrastructure projects

Strong technical knowledge in related field

A good understanding and knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation. A formal qualification like IOSH would be advantageous.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in project management software and tools

Able to travel to work sites/meetings,

A full clean UK driver’s license and passport
