M4 Specialist are recruiting for an Electrician for our Client, based in Welwyn Garden City specialising in a wide variety of installation and maintenance of electrical services covering London and surrounding home counties Responsibilities

  • Carrying out electrical installation/remedial works both Commercial & Domestic in line with current regulations
  • Carrying out all aspects of electrical works on projects from installation to test and commissioning within agreed programmes
  • Providing procurement information for materials required for projects, ensuring the distribution and safe keeping of materials on site and notification of any defects/shortfalls
  • Maintaining an effective liaison with the Client or Clients representative and advising line manager where appropriate
  • Completing testing and commissioning certification
  • Providing technical advice to employees and clients
  • Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety requirements on site
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork is returned to the office in a timely fashion
Requirements (Essential) * City & Guilds 236 Parts 1, 2 (or City & Guilds 2330) * NVQ3
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition
  • A full UK valid driving license is essential
  • Must have excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail
  • Candidates must have good organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met, and be able to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative to get to the heart of a problem to take it through to completion
  • Basic computer knowledge
Requirements (Desirable)
  • City & Guilds 2391
  • It is desirable for the candidate to have IPAF/PASMA and CSCS however this is not essential as the correct training can be offered by the company to obtain these.

  • Salary: £37,500k - £42,500 per year, depending on experience plus overtime

  • The successful candidate will be entitled to 20 days holiday plus bank holidays with the benefit of accumulating additional days annually after 2 years
