Nursery Nurse Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of a fantastic private day nursery which has been established since 2021, who are looking to employ an enthusiastic Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner for their setting based near Liverpool City Centre. The successful candidate must have a passion for childcare and be able to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years, in line with Early Years Foundation Stage. Key Responsibilities To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times. To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Nursery Lead. To help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes. To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress. To help ensure the nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times. To undertake designated officer roles as directed. To ensure records are maintained, as directed by Nursery Lead, sufficient to inform progress against the Early Learning Goals e.g. Observations, assessments, daily attendance register, accident and incident book, risk assessments. To liaise closely with parents/carers, informing them about the nursery and its curriculum, exchanging information about children's progress and encouraging parents' involvement. To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery aims and objectives To work in partnership with senior management to update and review the self-evaluation and improvement plan. Essential Criteria Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent. Paediatric First Aid Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance. Knowledge and proven experience of working with children 0-5 years.
