My client, a sector focused global law firm, is actively seeking an experienced Paralegal to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new Shipping Paralegal.

This department covers a wide variety of transactional shipping - from ship and aircraft sale and purchase to ship building and refit/repair projects. They're a leading provider of legal services with an international network of offices - handling complex transactions across the globe.

You will be treated as a Fee-Earner and your time will be recorded for each file you work on. As the successful Shipping Paralegal, you'll be responsible for:

- Drafting transactional documentation

- Assisting in the collation of KYC documentation and coordinating payments

- Liaising with external third parties

- Preparing transactional bibles

- Conducting legal research

- Ad-hoc administrative duties when required

- Lending further Paralegal support to the wider team when required

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:

- Be degree educated (minimum of 2:1 LLB or GDL)

- Have experience as a Paralegal (within Shipping, Offshore, Cruise, Ferry, Superyacht or Corporate Jets - ESSENTIAL)

- Be able to commute to the London office regularly

- Have experience dealing with clients (internal and external)

- Foreign language skills (desirable)
