We support people by offering mental health and wellbeingprogrammes, independent living skills and a wide range of qualifications to support their progression includingemployability, tenancy, personal development and leadership award qualifications.
You will be responsible for recruiting, training andsupporting the programme participants. You will support the achievement of high standards and provide monitoringinformation in relation to the project’s outcomes.
You will ensure that opportunities are provided to people equipping them with the skills to make a valuablecontribution to the service and their wider community. You will support people into a positive destinationwhether that be re-engagement with education, training or employment. The Project Worker will provide supportand offer guidance to programme participants, develop relationships with other agencies and services andactively promote LinkLiving’s programmes and services.
You have a good standard of education with standard grade passes (or equivalent) in core subjects such as English andMaths. Your background includes a proven track record of co-ordinating training courses, showcasing yourorganisational and logistical skills. Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is essential. Your excellent written and oral communication skills allow you to conveyinformation clearly and effectively.
You have experience in developing and delivering training programmes, showing your ability to educate and inspireothers. Understanding and applying evaluation methods to ensure the effectiveness of training is another of yourstrengths, ensuring continuous improvement. You workopenly and honestly within a team setting, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work culture. Yourability to prioritise and plan your workload, as well as that of team members, ensures efficient and effectivetask management.
Possessing a valid driver's license, you are willing and able to travelbetween services as required.

Our Edinburgh Young Persons’ Service provides visiting housing support and supported accommodation to people between16 and 25 years old who live in Edinburgh.
We support young people, who have been in care, experienced homelessness, trauma or any disadvantage to overcome thechallenges they may face whilst helping them to achieve their own individual goals and shape their lives for amore positive future.

Short Term Housing Support: This is a longer-term service with individual support packagesfunded through social work spot contracts. As well as enabling people to live as independently as possible intheir own homes, we also work with people to reduce social isolation through encouraging engagement withopportunities available in local communities. Primarily based inLeuchars, the staff team provide flexible support to help people settle within their new communities and toaccess all services for which they are eligible.
Across these three teams, we currently provide visiting support to over 200 people aged 16+ in Fife, helping them tosustain their homes through the development of independent living skills. We also support people to engage withopportunities available within their local communities, reducing isolation and supporting the achievement ofindividual outcomes. homelessness

The Service Manager will participate in a range of external networks for the benefit of service users, acting as anambassador for the whole organisation internally and externally, and will negotiate effectively with externalfunding partners to secure funding for service consolidation and development.
The Service Manager will manage a complex budget of Local Authority funding streams along with grant making trustincome and will manage a complex and extensive range of stakeholders.
The Service Manager will be required to be the (Care Inspectorate) RegisteredManager for the services and, as a member of the LinkLiving Management team will be required to participate inan out of hours on-call rota for LinkLiving.
You eitherpossess or are committed to achieving a Management qualification (e.g. Your leadership abilities shine through your experience of leading or contributing to management teams within thecare/support service sector. You possess a comprehensive understanding of the Social Care/Housing Support Sectorand are well-versed in the issues affecting service users, including legislative matters.
With a non-judgmental attitude and a commitment to diversity, you excel in managing resources,setting clear objectives, and driving performance.
Your written communication skills are of a quality that ensures clear and concise reports and funding applications.Flexibility is second nature to you, as evidenced by your willingness to work flexibly to meetthe needs of the service which may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays, you embody reliability andpracticality, bringing a flexible and resilient approach to your work each day. Ideally you will have a currentdriver's license and access to a car and the ability to travel between services as required.

The Supported Housing Worker role requires assisting in the management of the development thusensuring the tenants are able to enjoy an acceptable standard of living in an environment which is clean, safeand friendly. As Housing Care Worker your role will involve working with our tenants to ensure they receive thesupport and personal care identified in their care plans. You will directly support tenants in their homes byproviding individual advice, practical housing support assistance and personal care.
Both roles are to ensure that we are able to offer the best service to our tenants and make it possible for ourtenants to continue enjoying as much independent living as they’re able.
