Exciting Opportunity for Procurement Professional in Growing Manufacturing Business. Are you a driven procurement professional looking to make a significant impact within a business? We are seeking an ambitious Buyer to join our client, a leading manufacturing business working with key brands globally, based in their West Yorkshire office. You will join a dynamic Operations team and be pivotal in establishing a robust procurement function.

What you will be involved with as a Buyer:

  • Become the cornerstone of our procurement strategy, purchasing packaging materials, consumables, and other critical supplies
  • Develop and implement streamlined procurement processes and policies
  • Manage and maintain our ERP system with precision and attention to detail
  • Build and nurture strategic supplier relationships through professional communication
  • Regularly review, evaluate, and tender supplier agreements to maximise profitability
  • Conduct market analysis and reporting to enhance company profitability and competitive positioning

What we are looking for in a Buyer:

  • Qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is preferrable
  • A minimum of 2+ years’ experience in purchasing/buying is essential
  • Strong interest in starting or progressing CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification
  • Exceptional communication skills and a naturally commercial mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
