Company A regional Civil Engineering Contractor with offices in the South West. Project include highways, structures, water treatment, infrastructure and flood alleviation for a combination of public and private sector clients. Typical project range from £5M to £20M in value. Projects are procured via single, two stage and negotiated tender processes. The Role As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence and driving business growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the civil engineering sector.
- Targeting clients and projects within private and public sector organisations and Frameworks.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Maintaining your position as a focal point of contact for clients from project inception to completion.
- Developing and executing strategic business plans to achieve turnover and profit targets.
- Collaborating with bid management teams.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
