Our Finance team play an essential role in maintaining financial controland ensuring all aspects of our business have the right information to supportcommercial, operational and financial decision making.

We have an excellentopportunity for a Group Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at our Head Office,Cowick Hall in East Yorkshire. In this role, you will be responsible formanaging the timely delivery of the Group's financial reporting and analysis (includingdrafting commentary) and managing the Group's financial planning frameworks.This will involve delivery of reporting on consolidated group results, monthlyfinancial reporting to the Board and ExCo, quarterly forecasting, liaisingclosely with global counterparts to complete the budgeting processes andsupporting acquisition activities where appropriate. You will be responsiblefor driving the global consistency of financial reporting and accounting withspecific responsibility for financial reporting areas with a link toforecasting process such as goodwill and other impairment reviews and goingconcern, as well as other financial reporting areas as required. You will alsobe a finance business partner for certain functions as and when required, includingdeveloping and enhancing functional reporting over the medium term.

Essentials:
  • You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of challenging and building strong working relationships throughout the business
  • You should also be able to adapt to the changing business needs and be able to prioritise key actions to positively impact on performance
  • You must be a quick thinker, with an analytical and commercial approach to problem solving
  • You will be anACA/CIMA qualified accountant with experience working within practice and/or Plcenvironment
Desirables:
  • Experience managing financial planning frameworks within a large multi-national business
  • Experience workingwithin a manufacturing/industrial environment
