Site Manager

We are looking for a Site Manager to join a dynamic team based at Newmachar and Crimond on a permanent, full-time basis.
You will be required to manage and inspire personnel, delivering exceptional standards in on-site housekeeping and production quality. You will be accountable for ensuring the team operates with integrity whilst delivering a high standard of customer service, within financial frameworks across all site activities, and help create and maintain a Great Place to Work culture. This is an exciting and varied role with an opportunity to learn new and valuable skills.

About You
- Previous experience in similar business Feed, Fertilizer, Grain and/or Seed.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally at all levels with key customers & local authorities
- Able to adapt quickly to accommodate changing business and customer needs, while providing a responsive customer-focussed service
- Able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining Frontiers ICE values and creating a Great Place to Work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of managing P&Ls
- Experience of supervising and managing teams
- Good IT skills
Your Role
As a Site Manager your role will involve:
- Managing the operations of the store whilst adhering to relevant legal COPs, Frontier Health and Safety and Quality procedures and KPI targets and making certain all team members with key responsibilities are aware and are delivering on their duties under these requirements.
- Overseeing preparation and maintenance on plant buildings and equipment, including implementation of breakdown and repair procedures.
- Overseeing the grain storage operations and maintaining the high-quality standards of storage.
- Liaising with our commercial departments to ensure crop intake and outload is done efficiently and with the customer at the forefront
- Motivating and creating a positive team environment while providing team with clear direction, while using delegation appropriately to ensure team development
- Driving efficiencies and questioning processes to ensure that the site operates to best practice while maintaining high levels of customer service
- Full accountability for site P&Ls including setting accurate budgets and CapEx requirements
- A flexible approach to working hours especially during peak periods and a requirement for being on call.
