Horizon Teachers are working with a warm and welcoming primary school based in Hillingdon, assisting in their search for a Learning Support Assistant.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with an experienced team to provide personalised care and education to a child on a 1:1 basis, enabling them to thrive in a mainstream school setting. You will also support smaller groups of pupils, assisting with general learning and social skills.
The school is easily accessible via public transport and there are also parking options available.
What do the school require from you?
  • Experience working with children in EYFS or Primary settings.
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, either in a personal or educational capacity.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confident and able to use your initiative.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
  • Knowledge of relevant safeguarding policies and procedures.
