Home to School Transport Consultant 6 month contract 5 Days per week £550 per day Hybrid role (1-2 days on site per month) Inside IR35 Start Mid May Skills : SEND Transport, Home to School Transport, Cost Efficiencies, Cost Reduction, School Transport Routes I’m currently working with a Council in the Midlands that are seeking an experienced Home to School Transport Consultant for a 6 month contract. Teams Interviews are to be held w/c 13th May. In your role as a Home to School Transport Consultant, you will be reporting into the AD for Education & Head of Service for Transport. In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working as a Home to School Transport Consultant, within a local authority setting. Your Role as Home to School Transport Consultant:- You will hold strategic oversight on spend and budgetary oversight Managing cost efficiencies and looking at methodology Manage the commissioning and procurement of transport services Your previous experience as Home to School Transport Consultant:- Senior management experience within Home to School Transport Experience in cost efficiencies and budgetary control and reducing a budgetary deficit Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare and present reports to senior management Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external service providers Experienced in managing budgets and commissioning services We have multiple vacancies across our Education Team and across several Local Authorities nationwide, so even if you think this role isn’t quite right for you, we may well have other roles that are more suitable, so please do get in touch.
