Hamptons are proud to be working in close partnership with a well-established and passionate care provider who are on the lookout for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee their 2 homes based in Deal, Kent. Both homes provide support for 2 young people and are rated ‘Good’ with Ofsted. the residential homes on a day-to-day basis, ensuring it is compliant in meeting all relevant legislative and contractual requirements relating to Ofsted, including the health and educational needs of young people
supporting and developing staff, including supervision, to maximise their performance and ensure high standards of care, values, ethical standards, equality and diversity, policies and procedures, legislation and contractual and inspection framework requirements are met
resourcing needs and the ongoing selection, training and development of staff to ensure service delivery is optimised and relevant standards are met
with other departments and specialist external agencies to ensure that the young people receive appropriate plans, programmes and support in the home to aid their rehabilitation into the community and to meet contractual requirements

previous management experience in a childcare residential setting and a relevant Qualification (Level 5 in Leadership and Management)
resilient and able to support our children and young people in their most difficult times and represents being a great role model
a proven track record with Ofsted with successful outcomes
the passion and drive to improve the lives of children as well as having the desire and willingness to learn and develop new skills
