CNC Programmer

Fantastic opportunity for a CAD CAM Programmer to join a leading engineering business. Work on a range of interesting projects with high variety. Newly created position due to growth, You will need to have a strong CADCAM background (Powermill). This CNC Programmer job will suit:
  • An experienced offline CNC Programmer.
  • Strong CADCAM Skills – The role will include a significant amount of offline programming. Powermill experience is preferred.
  • Previous hands on experience as a Machinist– awareness for production processes, both CNC milling and turning. If you have completed an apprenticeship then that would be advantageous.
The CNC Programmer job will involve:
  • Offline programming of 3 and 5 axis CNC Machinery.
  • Using Powermill software. Experience with Vericut would also be useful, but not essential.
  • Continuously reviewing production processes and techniques to improve efficiency. You will be working alongside established CNC and Manual Machinists, to problem solve and identify new opportunities.
