Currently seeking a talented and experienced AV Installation Engineer to join its team. The selected candidate will work closely with our Smart Systems Manager & Design & Development team in delivering our bespoke smart products/solutions to our customers. KCP is a company that prides itself on being passionate and committed to delivering individual customer care. Our full-service consulting and implementation program offers turnkey solutions to minimize costs and interruptions to everyday business. As an AV Installation Engineer , you will be responsible for the installation of our bespoke products on customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Working with assigned project managers and programmers in providing complete, fully functional integrated audio-visual system solutions.
  • Install our bespoke new systems and technology.
  • Inspect and test material and machinery for safety
  • Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment
  • Be part of the installation, testing, and commissioning of smart systems and automation solutions and resolve onsite malfunctions
  • Provide technical support to customers and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Support Smart Systems Manager with documentation
  • Support Smart Systems Manager with customer training
  • Support Smart Systems Manager with site surveys and assessments when needed

Requirements

  • Understanding of installing and commissioning assigned projects for the Advanced Visual Systems and Television Network
  • Hands-on experience in installing smart systems
  • An understanding of systems integration techniques (Integration via IP protocols, Serial, ZigBee, or IR)
  • Understand audio DSP units, basic IP network, HDbaseT Technology
  • Understanding of safety guidelines
  • Happy to travel to customer sites and occasionally come to the office when needed, e.g. pick up equipment/tools.
  • Full Clean, Valid UK Driving License
  • Right to Work in the UK
