You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at a very well funded tech start-up that is set to revolutionise CPU Chip design; you'll be working on cutting edge technology, pushing the boundaries of what is possible today. As a Principal Analogue Engineer you'll join a small, highly talented team working collaboratively to develop multiple Analogue IP cores in all areas, particularly Data Conversion IP and Power Conversion IP. You'll gain experience across multiple process nodes, including some of the most advanced processes available and partner with clients to define and build Analogue subsystems. Typical responsibilities will include design, definition and implementation of analog blocks and circuits using a top-down methodology, assessing the architectural needs and options in analog circuits, behavioural modelling for circuits and circuit architectures using Verilog-A, development of analogue verification test benches to ensure performance and functionality across PVT and transistor level analysis and design to achieve customer requirements. There's a collaborative, open environment where you'll work closely with the engineering team towards a common goal. Location / WFH: The head office is based in Cambridge, you'll be required to go in for team sessions 3-4 times a month (this could be one day a week or 3-4 days at once depending on your preference / location). About you: You have experience of designing analogue cores that have been successfully released on silicon You have a track record of taking designs from concept to mass production You have a systematic, hands-on approach to circuit design using top-down approach that uses modelling of functions and verification You have experience of designing Data Convertors, Power Management and Analog Sensor Interfaces across the full development lifecycle from circuit and system specification, modelling, circuit development, simulation and verification including post layout PEX You have programming skills with one of the following: Python, Linux, Verilog-AMS, System Verilog, C, Matlab You have excellent communication skills, are comfortable partnering with clients and mentoring more junior members What's in it for you: Competitive salary - to £120k Company shares Flexible hybrid working Opportunity to work with and learn on cutting edge technology Career progression as the company scales Apply now to find out more about this Principal Analogue Engineer opportunity.
