We have anexcellent 9-month fixed term contract opportunity for a Group Risk andAssurance Manager based at our Global Headquarters, Cowick Hall in EastYorkshire. This is a hybridposition that allows for flexibility to work remotely. The successfulcandidate must have the availability to travel 30-50% of their time, dependenton department, team, and project activities. As the controls expert of the Polaris Risk and Assurance Workstream, youwill be working with external consultants and other process workstreams tostrengthen our control framework. Your focus will be on ensuring that controlsare considered from the design phase of the processes in S4/Hana, aiming for amore automated control environment that makes use of a higher number of automatedembedded controls and Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) processes.
You'll maintainclose contact with the other Risk and Assurance Managers and follow their lead.You will keep a gap log between the current and new risk and controls matrices(RACM). Effective communication ensures alignment and coordination acrossthe project into BAU.
Beyond controls,you may contribute to overall risk management of the Polaris project. You willown the project risk framework. Ensuring risk mitigation strategies are inplace and providing assurance to stakeholders are key aspects of your role.
You may completeother, ad-hoc activities to support the Risk and Assurance team outside thescope of Polaris, as required.

You will be a strong influencer, being able to work with and influence all levels of the business
Internal controls experience, including IT GCC, AEC and financial controls
Excellent project & programme management experience in delivering global projects
Attention to detail and planning skills
Educated to postgraduate level in either finance, internal audit or risk discipline.
Experience performingsimilar role in large IT projects, preferably S4/Hana.
