Eventus Legal are seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a very highly regarded regional law firm based in the Blackburn area with an impressive and varied client base across a range of market sectors. They provide tailored legal advice to their individual and corporate clients nationally. They offer flexible and hybrid working, death in service benefit and 28 days holiday + bank holidays. Role Responsibilities My client is seeking a solicitor to join their Commercial Litigation team who provide professional advice to clients on a range of matters. You will be working with an excellent client base and a wide range of interesting matters including:

  • Supply agreements
  • Partnership agreements
  • Breach of warranty claims
  • Property damage
  • Agricultural disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Contract disputes
  • Construction and engineering disputes
  • Shareholder disputes
  • Sports law
  • Insurance claims
  • Intellectual property disputes
  • Insolvency litigation
  • Judicial review
Person Specification Applications are sought from experienced solicitors, ideally with a minimum of 6 years PQE and the ability to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Effective time management
  • Organised
  • Collaborative
  • Strong communicator with a good telephone manner
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and keen to develop
  • Good IT skills
