Their clients include large companies, professionals and SMEs.

In January 2024 over 300 Personal Care businesses, across the UK and Isle of Man, won a landmark case against their insurer, Salon Gold, as it was ordered to payout Covid-19 pandemic losses.

RLK Solicitors are acting for thousands of clients and have reviewed thousands of insurance policies meaning they are truly experts in this complicated field. RLK have a proven track record in successfully presenting cases and disputing insurer’s denials on both liability and quantum.

RLK have a vacancy for a Commercial Insurance Litigation Solicitor dealing with Covid -19 Business Interruption Insurance Claims.

1 to 5 years PQE

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced solicitor specialising in commercial insurance litigation, preferably in Covid-19 business interruption claims. The successful candidate will have a strong background in insurance law, skills should include being a strong negotiator, good communicator, ability to multitask and work with numbers.

Key responsibilities:

Case Management : Handle a caseload of Covid-19 business interruption claims, ensuring all cases are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

Client Consultation : Provide legal advice to clients on their business interruption insurance claims related to COVID-19.

Legal Research : Keep updated on changes in insurance law and regulations related to COVID-19 and business interruption insurance.

Representation : Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies.

Documentation : Prepare and review legal documents such as letters of claim, claim applications, settlement agreements, and court pleadings etc.
