Wayman Group, a prestigious educational organization in the primary/secondary education industry, is seeking an exceptional individual to join our exceptional school in Manchester as the Head of English. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the English department and driving academic excellence within the subject. As the Head of English at Wayman Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an exceptional English curriculum, supporting and mentoring teachers, and fostering a love for literature and language among students. Lead and manage the English department, providing guidance and support to teachers
Develop and implement an engaging and rigorous English curriculum
Collaborate with fellow academic leaders to enhance cross-curricular initiatives
Maintain open communication with parents regarding students' academic performance
Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of English education
Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
Proven experience as a Head of English or in a similar leadership role
Outstanding knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum
Passion for English education and dedication to academic excellence
