As a bioanalytical chemist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting the process, analytical, development and data science divisions. You will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of process analytical technologies ‘PAT’ for in-line monitoring and real-time control of mRNA therapeutics production.
To be considered you should possess expertise in running biochemical assays and instruments including Raman spectroscopy, HPLC and UPLC, UV/Vis spectroscopy and in analyzing the resulting data. In addition, possess a solid understanding of the theories and principles of analytical chemistry and biochemistry.
Identification of critical process parameters (CPP) and monitoring critical quality attributes in the mRNA process.
Technology scouting, feasibility testing, and benchmarking against current methods.
Collecting in-process data to support the Data Science and chemometrics team in multivariate model development.
Support the Process Science engineers in running in vitro transcription (IVT), tangential flow filtration (TFF), and multicolumn chromatography equipment.
Contribute to the team’s review of research papers, intellectual property, and current literature to propose novel techniques for process improvement and optimization in both PD and GMP environments.
Degree or PhD in Chemistry or Biochemistry.

Solid understanding of the theories and principles of analytical chemistry and biochemistry.
Self-motivated, ability to work independently, strong work ethic, attention to detail, can be flexible with changing priorities.
