Were looking for anAssistant Store Managerto join our team inBletchley. Reporting directly to theStore Manager, youll be a key part of theretail management team, ensuring smooth daily operations. AsDuty Manager, youll take full responsibility for the store in the absence of theDeputy or Store Manager. Youll lead from the front, managing everything fromrecruitment,stock control, andstore standardsto driving sales and ensuring exceptionalcustomer service.
Overseeing store operations when theStore ManagerorDeputy Manageris unavailable.
Maximising salesand driving performance to achieve key KPIs.
Maintaining high standards across the store, ensuring its a great place to shop and work.
Collaborating with the management team to create a seamlessretail experience.
Well provide you withindustry-leading training, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to deliver top-tier service and care for our customers and their pets.
Youll have at least6 monthsofhands-on supervisory/management experiencein aretail environment.
Flexible to work a7-day shift pattern, including weekends.
Ready to take on6 months of training, covering everything fromcustomer serviceandhealth & safetyto caring for pets.

With a close-knit team of17 colleagues, includingthree managersand akeyholder, the store thrives on teamwork and a fun, supportive environment. Recently benefitting from abrand-new refit, the store is modern, clean, and well-equipped, providing an excellent setting for both colleagues and customers.
Conveniently positioned, the store is just two minutes from a bus stop and a 20-minute walk from Bletchley railway station, with great transport links to Milton Keynes and London. Nearby, the Bletchley Shopping Centre offers a variety of shops and dining options, perfect for lunch breaks or post-work catch-ups. For those who love the outdoors,Bletchley Parkand scenic spots like theFenny Stratford Lockalong the Grand Union Canal offer opportunities to unwind.
