Job Description:

Our client, based in Nelson, specializes in designing, manufacturing, installing, and commissioning bespoke industrial equipment. They are currently seeking an Assembly and Installation Manager to join their friendly and hardworking team.

Salary:

£50k (39hrs) + Overtime (reviewed annually) plus mobile phone and other company benefits.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all aspects of the assembly and installation of machinery.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to the Company's Site Foremen.
  3. Collaborate with the Projects team to plan assembly and installation timelines.
  4. Oversee Health and Safety during the assembly process and ensure compliance during installation.
  5. Participate in the Company's Senior Management Team meetings.
  6. Coordinate with the Projects team to avoid exceeding budgets and meet project milestones.
  7. Assist with recruitment when needed to enhance assembly and installation resources.
  8. Work with the Procurement Manager to ensure timely and cost-effective part deliveries.
  9. Manage the Company's Commissioning and Servicing Engineer to meet deadlines.
Skills and Requirements:

Education: HNC/HND in mechanical engineering
Experience: 5 years in a similar environment
Skills: Strong managerial skills, clear communication, and a 'can-do' attitude
