Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days)and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
GoDaddy is a rapidly growing technology company that provides innovative solutions to our clients. We are seeking an expert Linux Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. As a Linux SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our Linux-based systems. Design, build, and maintain our Linux-based infrastructure
Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems
Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues
3+ years of experience as a Linux SRE or proven ability as a Linux SRE
~ Proficiency in Linux system administration, including server installation, configuration, bash scripting, and troubleshooting
~ Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Salt
~ Python, Golang, or another scripting language
