Senior Estimator

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in our project planning and execution process. This individual will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Estimating and leading a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grading and assigning of incoming work to meet targets and appropriate to the skill set / development needs of estimators
  • Taking the lead on Senior level estimating projects.
  • Recruitment, Onboarding, Training and Development of Estimating team
  • Ensuring accuracy and quality of all work produced and checked within the team; ensuring building regulations and requirements are met and understood.
  • In conjunction with the Head of Technical and Estimating Services ensure performance, accuracy and work flow targets set within the department are met.
  • Provide an efficient and effective Service – maintaining relationships and standards Ensure any customer / branch estimating queries are actioned and resolved appropriately for your work stream / team; escalating to the Head of Technical and Estimating Services as appropriate.
  • Working in conjunction with the leadership team; continually look for new opportunities to promote and expand the service offering.
  • Review and improve estimating processes / systems to ensure the service offering remains up to date with regulatory, customer and business requirements.
  • In conjunction with the leadership team, ensure estimating prices and products used reflect our target markets within systems and estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in estimating .
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
