GLT Trailers is excited to present a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Design Draftsman to join our dynamic team. We specialise in crafting premium semi-trailers tailored for the Australian market and are committed to delivering exceptional quality and innovative design solutions.

Technical Design / Drafting : Creating and manipulating detailed 3D models and 2D layout drawings of bulk handling trailers utilising Autodesk Inventor, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
Working closely with Production Staff during trailer builds, providing technical guidance and support to ensure seamless project progression.
Assisting with Engineering and Production schedules to maintain workflow efficiency and meet project deadlines.
Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Design or related field.
Experience in 3D design of large assemblies, including parametric modelling and iLogic.
Strong drafting skills with a focus on fabrication and mechanical components.
Familiarity with metal processing methods such as welding, machining, and CNC operations.
Previous experience in coach building or automotive industries is advantageous.
