If so, Accelerate Teaching wants to hear from you We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Needs Teacher to join our team at a Special Needs School in Wakefield. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students who have a diverse range of needs and to help them reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with special needs. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected. Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary to ensure each student is making meaningful progress. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to supporting students with special needs. Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular meetings and reviews.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with students with special needs. Strong knowledge of special educational needs and the ability to differentiate instruction accordingly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
