We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure our extrusion equipment's proper operation and maintenance. This crucial role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

~ Perform routine and preventive maintenance on extrusion equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimise downtime
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues related to extrusion machinery and make the necessary repairs
Collaborate with the production team to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise disruptions to production schedules
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including equipment logs, repair orders, and inventory documentation
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new extrusion equipment
Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians on equipment maintenance and repair procedures
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance in an industrial setting
