We’re on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to become a vital part of our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based in Norwich . Location & Hours Location: Norwich, Norfolk - primarily office-based with some flexibility for home working. Hours: 45 hours per week – we offer flexibility, so just let us know what works for you Please note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role. Your Role In this exciting position, you’ll be working on the Anglian Water contract as part of our IOS team (Integrated Operational Solutions). Our team collaborates across various disciplines, including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation, focusing on innovative water recycling solutions and clean water projects throughout the Anglian Water region. Key Responsibilities As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial team to achieve designated contract objectives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Providing commercial input, including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team. Producing cash flow forecasts and maximizing cash flow. Identifying potential risks and communicating them to the Senior Quantity Surveyor. Managing subcontract procurement to ensure best value and lowest risk. Assessing subcontract applications effectively. What We’re Looking For This role is perfect for you if you have: Experience in a similar role within the construction or water industry. An appropriate qualification in Quantity Surveying. Strong commercial and business acumen. Experience working with the NEC suite of contracts. A full driving license.
