A leading construction and engineering company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team for an exciting and ambitious £100m rail project in London. This multi-disciplinary scheme encompasses rail systems, civil, and infrastructure works.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be fully accountable for all commercial aspects of the project. You will be a senior figure in a team of 6-8 Quantity Surveyors at varying levels of experience and report directly to the Commercial Manager.

Commercial Accountability : Oversee and manage all commercial activities related to the project, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability.
Team Management : Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6-8 Quantity Surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Prepare and present detailed commercial reports to the Divisional Commercial Director or Senior Commercial Manager.
Contract Management : Project Delivery : Work closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery of the project within the specified time frame and budget.
Stakeholder Engagement : Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Demonstrated experience in managing major projects, preferably within the rail industry.
Technical Skills : Strong understanding of commercial management, cost control, and contract administration under the ICE form of contract.
Qualifications : Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Competitive salary
