Description We are working with a major UK defence client who are embarking on a groundbreaking complex construction programme. They are seeking to appoint a Head of Commercial to lead the post-contract management of a £multi-billion portfolio within this nationally significant project. This initiative forms part of a long term investment exceeding £20 billion, delivering new manufacturing, research, and technical facilities essential to the UK's future capabilities.
Overall responsibility for post-contract management of a £multi-bn infrastructure portfolio.
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery performance with optimal risk management.
Oversee cost strategies and lead commercial negotiations.
Grow, nurture and lead a high-performing commercial team.
Extensive post-contract management experience in major infrastructure projects (such as Nuclear, Defence, Energy, Rail, Water, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing etc).
Inspiring leader with experience of managing large-scale, high performing commercial teams.
Excellent stakeholder management skills in a regulated environment. Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial discipline, RICS or CIArb.
The successful candidate must hold or be willing to obtain security clearance.
