Assist in Introduction of new products to production
# Actively work with Engineering on all DFM/testability/manufacturability issues and design of new products
# Develop new manufacturing processes and build guides
# Layout manufacturing cells with all tooling and services

Support Current Production
# Suggest and implement improvements to current production processes
# Investigate and solve manufacturing problems
# Investigate Quality problems caused by build and external suppliers
# Identify new production methods and tooling

Recommend improvements to existing methods of manufacture
# Update Existing Build guides in line with improvements and Engineering changes
# Assist in factory layout moves

# HNC/Degree Engineering discipline (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electronics)
~5+ years’ experience in a similar role in medium/high volume Electro-mechanical manufacturing environment (Less experience/other industry considered)
~ Awareness of modern manufacturing philosophies and techniques
~ Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, Solidworks)
~ With over 50 years of experience in aviation technology, Curtiss-Wright's Sensors Division is continuing the legacy of flight innovation, providing critical components on a variety of commercial, defense and industrial platforms.
